Medicare Travel,s.r.o. is an intermediary between patient and doctor. Because we want client to be satisfied, content and happy during his or her stay and after too we always act in client’s best interest. Because Medicare Travel,s.r.o. doesn’t hold medical qualifications doesn’t carry any responsibility for the result and work of the doctor, healthcare centre, clinics and its workers. It can happened that doctor doesn’t recommend procedures or operation that client choose because of his or her state of health after preoperative tests and examinations.
Medicare Travel,s.r.o. doesn’t hold the responsibility in this case either. All the medical work is responsibility of the doctor, clinic and its stuff. Doctor will give to client all necessary instructions, advices and will do all necessary tests and examinations to make sure that operation and treatment is for client completely secure. If the client refuses doctors advices and recommendations to follow them resulting into any type of damage because of client’s lack of care, Medicare Travel,s.r.o. doesn’t hold responsibility.
Medicare Travel,s.r.o. gives to client medical operation and treatment price which doesn’t include airfares to and from Bratislava or Vienna. We can help to book and buy flight ticket for client in case he or she ask us to with no extra charge just to help find the best or cheapest flight to and from Bratislava or Vienna. Our quote doesn’t include charges in case of unpredictable complications that may happen from the operation or other causes. For example – client’s consultation with other specialists and doctors, unplanned surgery, additional stay etc. Our quote doesn’t include charges of procedures and treatments that client didn’t book in Medi-booking form (booked procedures are cheaper than the same non-booked procedures).
The price of the service is a subject to change until the contract between the costumer and Medicare Travel comes into existence and the Medi-booking form is confirmed. The contract between the client and Medicare Travel only comes into existence after the client sends the deposit and Medicare Travel issues an invoice for the client. The date on the invoice is considered as the starting point of the contract. By issuing the invoice by Medicare Travel the booking of the service is confirmed. After an agreement on the type of surgery or other services and on the date of the treatment is made, a deposit of 400 € or the full price of surgery is required. Depends on type of surgery.
This can be paid by a credit card or bank transfer. The rest of the payment is paid in Slovakia by cash or a credit card. By sending us the filled Medi-booking form, the client is confirming she/he has read and understood the terms and conditions. The surgery cancellation can be made no less than 14 days before the procedure. We reserve the right to charge 150 € from your deposit as a flat cancellation fee. If the client asks the surgery cancellation less than 14 days before the procedure we reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the price for surgery as a flat cancellation fee. After every payment an invoice with all the payment details would be sent to our client to make sure he or she is informed about every single service and it’s price.
With filled Medi-booking form client agree to let Medicare Travel and our doctors use this questionnaire for the purposes limited to medical use only. Medicare Travel doesn‘t take any responsibility if our client has provided false information or has concealed client’s full medical history. Medicare Travel is committed to safeguarding any personal information held within our database. We take every step necessary to protect personal data and information contained within our website.
The client is responsible for his safe arrival in Slovakia. Medicare Travel does not take any responsibility in case there is a delay in flight or if the client’s traveling documents are not valid or insufficient. Medical and surgical advice given in this web site is intended to be accurate and to the best of our knowledge, however any advice given should be discussed and thoroughly understood with the surgeon before proceeding with treatments.
